ITASCA, Ill.—Knowles Corporation, a global provider of advanced micro-acoustic microphones and speakers, audio processors, high-performance capacitors, and RF products, will offer its high-precision miniaturization capabilities to MedTech OEMs, the company said in a release.
Knowles specializes in small, intricate components and assemblies with tight tolerances and high precision. Its miniaturization capabilities will provide medical technology (med tech) OEMs with customized design, development, and manufacturing services for scalable miniature components and assemblies, according to the release.

Knowles said in the release that it will offer numerous services to med tech OEMs. They include micro-stamping, micro-molding, micro-ultra fine wire coil winding, micro connector and cable assembly, microelectronics, precision machining, and design and development. Its services are expected to benefit several medical device categories, including implantable devices, precision surgical instruments, surgical robotics, diagnostics, and drug delivery systems.
