Flowfinity is offering pre-integrated hardware and software that can be retrofitted to existing facilities without any coding, the company said.

VANCOUVER, B.C.— As the manufacturing sector increasingly embraces industrial IoT (internet of things) for monitoring and control, Flowfinity is helping manufacturers gain a competitive advantage by removing barriers to entry for their IoT deployments at existing facilities, the company said in a release.

Flowfinity, the developer of a no-code platform and a provider of IoT products to industry, reported that 85 percent of surveyed leaders are implementing or planning to implement IoT within the next few years. Flowfinity said that its IoT products provide continuous data streams for real-time machine monitoring to enable more proactive maintenance. At the same time, process automation via edge computing helps minimize waste and excess energy consumption.
