Kreate said its new facility will be equipped with a dozen large-format 3D printers and a production part test lab with advanced equipment.
ATLANTA—Product development and manufacturing company Kreate is aiming to establish a hub for cutting-edge technology and innovation with a $3 million investment in a new, state-of-the-art design, engineering, and product testing center in Atlanta, the company said in a release.
The 20,000-square-foot “innovation center” will be equipped with a fleet of 12 large-format 3D printers, a sophisticated prototype finishing lab, and a production part test lab with advanced equipment. It will also be staffed with a team of product testing, engineering, and marketing/content creation experts, according to the release.
“Kreate’s commitment to innovation and excellence is exemplified in this new Atlanta center,” said Nick Reinhart, Kreate’s founder and owner, in the release. “This investment not only enhances our capabilities but also reinforces our dedication to providing seamless solutions from product ideation to in-store launch. Our new facility enables us to better serve our clients and drive industry-leading advancements.”
Kreate said in the release that its vertically integrated approach allows the company to manage every phase of the product development lifecycle. From category research and program management to packaging design, tooling, manufacturing, and distribution, Kreate aims to ensure a streamlined, repeatable, and dependable process at each step. The new center is expected to further bolster the company’s ability “to deliver innovative products efficiently and effectively,” the company said.
The establishment of the Atlanta innovation center is said to align with Kreate’s strategy to strengthen relationships with key partners while expanding operational capabilities to meet growing market demands. Alongside the company’s 2 million square feet of manufacturing, warehousing, and innovation facilities in Ohio and Texas, the new facility “further highlights Kreate’s growth mindset and positions the company as a premier full-service retail product market leader,” according to the release.
