Manufactured by Caster Concepts, the products are currently used in the manufacturing of heavy machinery for multiple industries, the company said.
ALBION, Mich.—Caster Concepts recently introduced multiple casters that are custom designed and produced completely in the United States for applications that require massive loads to be moved safely and efficiently, the company said in a release.
The casters are designed for heavy duty, extra heavy-duty, and super heavy-duty applications, with “real-world capacities” that are reported to exceed 100 tons.
“These products offer engineered solutions designed to improve productivity and safety in demanding applications, such as moving equipment or heavy materials,” said Doug Backinger, vice president of sales at Caster Concepts, in the release. “We are working with customers to offer the solution that best matches their material handling and work environment needs.”
The U.S.-made casters can be quickly manufactured and shipped, and can “meet the most stringent industry standards,” according to the manufacturer. They are currently used in the manufacturing of heavy machinery for multiple industries, including agriculture, marine, aerospace, automotive, and asphalt, the company said.
The Heavy Duty product grade includes Caster Concepts’ 80 series, 81 series, 85 series, 87 series, 90 series, and 91 series. The Extra Heavy-Duty category spans the 95 series, 97 series, and 99 series. The Super Heavy-Duty Category-2-99 includes the 82 series and up, as well as the Kingpin and 2-81 KingPinless and up. It also includes Dual Wheel casters, according to the release.
