Fairview Microwave’s new attenuators feature QMA connectors, ensuring quick, tool-free connections that are reported to be secure and reliable.

IRVINE, Calif.—Fairview Microwave, a provider of RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave products, recently introduced its RF fixed attenuators with QMA (quick-mating) connectors. The devices “cater to the needs of industries looking for reliable and high-quality connectivity solutions, including telecommunications, defense, and aerospace sectors,” Fairview Microwave said in a release.

According to Fairview Microwave, its new RF fixed attenuators have a QMA connectorized design, ensuring quick, tool-free connections that are secure and reliable. They are notable for their robustness, boasting a power rating of 2 watts and the capability to operate effectively at frequencies up to 6 GHz. This reportedly makes them suitable for a wide array of applications that require precise signal reduction without compromising signal integrity.

The attenuators are reported to have a wide range of attenuation levels, including 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 15, 20, and 30 dB. This presents users with a versatile tool for managing signal strength across different scenarios. In addition, the attenuators have a high power rating of up to 2 watts (CW) and specific optimization for 6 GHz frequencies, enabling them to deliver “exceptional performance and reliability,” the company said in the release.

“By offering a product that combines ease of use with high performance, we are helping professionals across various industries achieve their objectives more efficiently and effectively,” said Fairview Microwave Product Line Manager Steven Pong, in the release.

The new RF fixed attenuators with QMA connectors are in stock and available for same-day shipping. Fairview Microwave, an Infinite Electronics brand, offers immediate delivery of RF components that include adapters, coaxial cable assemblies, connectors, and terminations, as well as attenuators. The company said it ships all products same-day from its ISO 9001:2015-certified production facilities in Lewisville, Texas.
