This marks the 12th consecutive year that the supplier of high-quality retaining rings and wave springs has received GM’s award.

LAKE ZURICH, Ill.—–Smalley, a prominent provider of high-quality retaining rings and wave springs, reported that it was awarded General Motors’ 2023 Supplier Quality Excellence Award (SQEA) for the 12th consecutive year.

The award is granted to GM suppliers who meet or exceed strict quality performance criteria and have given cross-functional support to the entire GM organization throughout the 2023 calendar year. The recognition from General Motors “reinforces Smalley’s status as a reliable partner in the automotive supply chain,” Smalley said in a release.

In a prepared statement, General Motors commended Smalley for “its outstanding contribution.”
