Heyco-Werk USA and real estate developer Marlboro Development Team held a ceremony to mark the groundbreaking of Heyco’s new manufacturing facility in Gaston County, North Carolina.
The manufacturer will produce injection molded parts for automakers at the 65,000-square-foot facility in Gaston County.
DALLAS, N.C.—Plastic injection molding supplier Heyco-Werk USA Inc., recently broke ground on its new manufacturing facility in Gaston County, where Heyco will manufacture injection molded parts for the automotive industry, according to a release from the developer of the facility, Marlboro Development Team, Inc. (MDT).
The planned 65,000-square-foot production facility, constructed by Edifice Construction, is described as “state-of-the-art.” It will be Heyco’s second U.S. location, enabling the company to expand production to meet the increasing needs of BMW and other European car manufacturers in North America. Situated on a 10-acre site at Apple Creek Corporate Center, the new facility will include high-end injection molding production with room for expansion, MDT said in the release.

Marlboro Development Team, Inc., is a South Carolina-based real estate developer focused on single tenant build-to-suits, value-add acquisitions, speculative industrial development, and strategic investments throughout the United States.

HEYCO-Werk USA Inc. specializes in manufacturing precision-molded plastic parts for the automotive industry and various industrial markets. The company specifically manufactures automotive products for all BMW SUV models worldwide, the release said.
