MIAMI—Boyne Capital reported that one of its affiliates has invested in ProFusion Industries, a designer, engineer, and manufacturer of polymer-based film and sheet products for a variety of end markets.
ProFusion, headquartered in Fairlawn, Ohio, manufactures products for diversified end markets that include hospitality, transportation, military, general matting, and industrial. The company is relied upon as a strategic just-in-time partner for numerous blue-chip companies that manufacture products such as wallcoverings, matting, tenting, ducting, Boyne Capital said in a release.
“We are excited to partner with ProFusion, given its market leading position and capabilities,” said Derek McDowell, managing partner at Boyne Capital, in the release. “This investment is another strong example of Boyne’s focus on investing in market leaders and partnering with top-tier management teams.”
Roman Krislav, managing director at Boyne Capital, echoed that statement, adding, “ProFusion’s commitment to new product development, customer-centric approach, and engrained culture of continuous improvement sets them apart in their core markets.”
ProFusion’s in-house engineering and materials expertise enables it to drive new product and process innovation, including its proprietary recycling operation, according to Boyne Capital. ProFusion recently achieved the +Vantage Vinyl® Verified certification, becoming one of only a few companies in its segment with this certification. The certification is a verification by the Vinyl Sustainability Council (VSC) of a vinyl company’s integrated efforts to achieve sustainability in its operations and practices.

ProFusion Industries holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification of its quality management system. The certification applies to “design and manufacture of specialty films and thermoplastic compounds,” according to ProFusion’s website.
Boyne Capital, founded in 2006, is a Florida-based private equity firm that focuses on investments in lower middle market companies. The company has invested in companies within industries such as healthcare services, consumer products, and business and financial services, in addition to manufacturing and industrial, infrastructure, and engineering services.
